Good Photos Make For A Happy Designer
I’ve been designing for 6 years now and one of my biggest battles as a designer, remains, getting usable and decent images from clients. Photography can make or break a graphic design and all too often it is the last thing that is considered.
Before starting your new project or redesign, be sure to take into consideration the need for good photography. Look for a photographer that has a professional portfolio and experience with the type of photography you require. Look for interesting compositions and innovative ideas. Always make sure that you will be able to get high resolution photos… 72-dpi for web, and 300-dpi for print. You basically want / need high quality eye candy.
And, remember that good photos make for a happy graphic designer… and a happy graphic designer makes for better graphic design.
